Benefits of Reciting the Holy Quran:
He will be crowned:
Whoever recites the Quran and acts upon it, his parents will be crowned on the Day of Resurrection with a radiance greater than the sun.
Purification of the heart:
The recitation of the Qur’an and the remembrance of death purifies the heart like polishing iron.
Mercy of Allah Almighty:
Whoever is so busy in reciting the Holy Quran that he/she has no time for supplication, Allah Almighty gives him more than the one who asks.
Protection from the devil:
According to the Hadith, the house in which Surah Baqarah is recited daily is safe from the devil, so it will stay away from the disease of the jinn.
The good news of intercession:
On the Day of Resurrection, Surah Al-Baqarah and Al-Imran will cast a shadow over those who were accustomed to reciting the Quran in the world.
Protection from thief:
If a person recites Ayatul Kursi in the morning, evening and at medtime, his house will be protected from fire and thief.
Never be hungry:
Whoever recites Surah Al-Waqi’ah every night will never be hungry.
The end will be good:
Whoever recites Surah Kafirun while sleeping. In Sha Allah, he will be safe from disbelief, that is, his (end) will be good.
Fulfillment of needs:
If Surah Yaseen is accustomed to be recited on the first day (before the second), then his needs are met.
Forgiveness of all sins:
By reciting Surah Yaseen, all sins are forgiven and difficulties are eased, so recite it on the sick.
The Good News of Intercession:
When Surah Al-Alam Tanzeel is recited, when it reaches the grave, this Surah intercedes in such a way that, It covers them like a bird with its wings to save its young and its torment.
Protection from magic:
Recitation of Surah Al-Falaq and Surah Al-Naas removes wind and darkness and the one who recites it regularly will be protected from magic.
After the above discussion I conclude that, The Qur’an is the true book of Allah Almighty. This is the message of Allah to His servants, it increases faith and neat the hearts from rust. Recitation of the Holy Quran is a cause of blessing and reward. But it is unfortunate that most of us are slatternly to the recitation of the Holy Quran. They spend their time in worldly affairs while they do not have time for recitation of the Holy Quran.
Believe me, Allah Almighty blesses the recitation of the Holy Quran in time. Let’s Promise from today that In Sha Allah you will take time out of your busy life to recite the Holy Quran daily and recite at least two or three ruku’s and understand it. Read it with translation so that you know what Allah Almighty used to say to His servants
