Seven People Under The Shade of Allah on Judgement Day

People Under the Allah's Shade

We all seek the shadow of Allah in this world and in the Hereafter. And the Day of Judgment will be a hard and difficult day. Also there will be no shadow on that day except the shadow of the Throne of God. So there are seven kind of people whom Allah will place in His shadow on the Day of Resurrection. Let’s see what are the features of those seven types of people.

It is narrated on the authority of Hazrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: “There are seven people whom Allah will place in His shadow on the Day of Resurrection. There will be no shadow ( i.e on the Day of Resurrection and these are the seven men)”.

Description of Those Seven People:

  •  A Righted Ruler:
  •  The young man who flourished in the worship of God Almighty:
  •  If a person leaves the masjid, his heart should be stuck in the masjid until he goes to the masjid again.
  • The two men who befriended each other only for the sake of Allah, gathered for Him and parted on Him.
  • The person who remembers Allah in solitude, his/her teams start.
  • The one who was called by an honorable and beautiful woman (with bad intentions) but he said: I fear Allah.
  • The person who gave charity hid it in such a way that even his left hand did not know what his right hand spent.

A Righted  Ruler:

The Holy Shari’ah states that the Hakim Adil is highly esteemed in the sight of Allah and has a great reward. One of which is that such a Righted Ruler will be in the shadow of Allah on the Day of Resurrection.

The Young  Worshiper:

Youthfulness is a great blessing of Allah Almighty. Allah Almighty loves the worship of young man. That’s why On the Day of Judgment, Allah will ask: How did you spend your youthfulness? The colors of the world attract a person in his youthfulness. In such a case, the young man who abandons the colors of the world and enjoys the worship of Allah and stays away from sin and disobedience. He will be in the shadow of His throne.

A Person Who’s Heart Attached to Masjid:

That is, a person who goes out for his worldly needs after performing prayers and other acts of worship in the masjid. But does not like the world and is always anxious to go to the masjid. Usually people’s hearts are stuck in jobs, businesses or homes. Going to the masjid is not one of the people’s priorities. Those who love the houses of Allah  as much as possible. They will be in the shadow of the special blessing of Allah on the Day of Resurrection.

A Person Shedding Tears in Private:

Remembering Allah in solitude when there is no one to see except Allah is possible mostly during Tahajjud. It is not possible to worship Allah without sincerity, love, fear and reverence in the darkness of night, leaving behind a soft warm bed and a restful sleep. And let it be clear that this sincerity, love and the fear of God that are born in the heart. If all of them are accompanied by tears in the eyes, is a great happiness. That kind of person will stay in the shadow of Allah.

Relationship For the Sake of Allah:

Everyone makes friends. However, friendship of Allah is the blessing of Allah Almighty. Under this blessed friendship, when two or more people meet, they bring blessings for themselves and the people around them. Allah Almighty bestows goodness on them in this world as well, before they part. He forgives them and on the Day of Resurrection He will place them in the shadow of  His special mercy.

A Chaste Man:

Here the Holy Prophet has given an example of a high character and this example is for both men and women. Whether a high-ranking  beautiful woman lures a man into an illicit affair and a man of high character says, “I fear Allah,” or an influential rich handsome man. He wants to have illicit intercourse with a woman and she says, “I fear Allah.” It is not possible to deny such a insurgency without a very high moral character, while the one who calls or calls towards evil is also the one who persuades and seduces with his attractive installation, wealth and beauty. People with such high character will surely be under the protection of Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala.

Giving Hidden Charity:

This is the highest kind of charity that if you give with one hand, the other hand will not know. The purpose of this charity is not to show off. But only to please God.  Allah Almighty says in the Holy Quran:
“Those who spend their wealth in the cause of Allah, and after spending it do not show kindness, nor do they harm, their reward is with their Lord. And they will have no fear, nor will they grieve”. [2: 262]

Therefore, such people will be the special guests of Allah on the Day of Judgment without any fear and danger and they will be kept in the cool shadow of the Great Throne.

The Conclusion:

In fact, these are the seven highest moral and spiritual characters. The believer who manifests one of these characters will entitle to the shadow of the Great Throne on the Day of Resurrection. Aren’t we entitled now to the shadow of the Great Throne to becoming a role model for any one of these seven characters? Let us pray that Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala, by His mercy. And make us possess these high moral and spiritual roles. And make us prosperous in the shadow of His blessings in this world. Also in the shadow of His great throne in the Hereafter. Ameen.
